A Guy Called Gerald on Loudness // 18.11.14

This film with A Guy Called Gerald has waited quietly since he was recording Silent Sound Spread Spectrum in The Big Room at Real World in 2012. For various tangled reasons it’s only recently found its slot with Bowers & Wilkins Society of Sound.

Somehow Gerald’s ‘cooking of sound’ to fill room brings to mind the Julian Temple talk I heard at xMedia Lab in Bath (it wasn’t a million miles from his TED talk ‘Ssh! Sound Health in 8 Steps’), so if you fancy more on the subject, he has an interesting take on sound.
